  3. Stretch your dough into a rather large rectangle. Spread a little more than 3/4 of your cheese on the dough. Top with your sausage mixture and leave a flap exposed. Don’t go to the edge with your filling.
  4. Prepare an egg wash. Brush the flap facing away from you and the two sides. Roll once, fold sides in, then wrap tightly. Should remind you of rolling a.... burrito.
  5. Cut three slits in the dough to allow it to vent. Brush entire Stromboli with egg wash. Top with cheese, being careful not to block the vents.
  6. Bake in a 400F oven for about 25 minutes or until golden and attractive. I made a sauce with 75% Marinara 25% BBQ sauce. Garnish with some parsley. Allow to cool a bit before slicing.
